Children's Book

My first job was with the nonprofit LA Kitchen. They deliver healthy prepared meals to low income seniors in Los Angeles, while also providing a stepping stone for the unemployed to enter the culinary workforce. The social, environmental, and health impacts of eating right have so much potential to enact change. Using what I had learned from the LA Kitchen, I wrote and illustrated "Bloom: eating from A to Z." My book aims to educate children on the diversity of delicious produce that the planet has to offer. Hopefully, they will grow up to be healthy, happy adults with positive eating habits.
